{ILL BE AT THE CHARLOTTE nc SHOW IN SEPT~Good thing about halestorm is thier music\talent & fan repour~They dont have certain governs\stereotypes put upon them like some bands~As i was telling you in my 1st comment} like MM let alone NIN~So ive come along way in concerts~I have to travel if i want to see them or any band & got the $ to do so~I have too~Radicals prevent my area from seeing hard edge metal~I see halestrom as a very FAN BASED type band~Outside of radicals we deal with here~There are politics~w/rock & roll, money, promoters, tour times & they have a great label too~I have to go to N.C to see them~I feel certain they will come your way~I once lived out in rural MO&SHEESH~all they got 4ROCK is ALICE COOPER@nite soundtracks~When reading archives i think i seen it said~They playing/ed a show at Poplar Bluff~So if thats true~They will get to you~If i remember P~Bluff isnt like some huge metro area so they probabaly gave that town sumpin to remember~The band must be exhasted nothing but tour dates out the yang~HANG IN THERE you will see them~Im sure some one to the caliber of fans like u,me &others aching 2c em~youll get your wish~They dont call me GYPSY 4nutin~If im fortunate to see her as i have premier seats Shes worth a 2hour drive let alone the other bands~Hang in there~I really hope you get to experience them too~You know a 2nd release will be in the makings as well~So there will be tour dates for a while yet~Whats kool {im old skool} as i read some of her BIO~She was influenced by the bands they grew up on & @ my age i was actually at the concerts of whom~They listened to when they was young~I to have 2 drive 2 hrs2 so my old @ss can to see & hear this awesome lady & her fine soilders of rock~As ive about played the sound off my cd~GOOD LUCK &PEACE...

At our old colisieum there was a bad incident w/KISS in 1985~The bldg caught fire & was indeed shot out~Lot of partying went down there~Beleive me i was there & got many t-shirts to prove it~lol
My area has this {ill be polite & not mention names}~ppl here know the deal}=A churchy campus~>Their big wheels,did re-build a nice new arena~contributed to it & own the land~B4 the fire~ BIG bands use to play her no prob~Sad things is they also have to much in fluence over who comes here~MARILYN MANSON we cant get not even at ozfest 97i was pissed
The radical students from that campus~Would stand across the street & damn us all to hell for seeing DEF LEPPARD {wtf}~Awh man you got to be kidding~throwing leaflets at us praying like we were devil spawn RIDICULOUS in short...
I was glad in 91 when "CLASH OF THE TITANS TOUR" hit town Slayer, Anthrax, Alice & chains, Suicidal Tendacies played a krippler show~Fan decourum & attitude w/our long hair spikes leather~We looked as hard as the music we went to see~
None of them to gave greif~WE JUS SANG SCAREYS ON THE WALL~
So w/thier contributions ,influences & w/city councils taking thier decisive hands outs=$~There are oppressed radicals here that decide~Upon who can play where & im talking harder bands like death metal stuff~
The very mention of MARLYN MANSON flipped them all out 96-98{ozfest~He couldnt play here w/said above & cant play @ the other carolina~WE GET ROCK BLOCKED~Its ignorance PMRC

Lol sorry bout that wyckdstorm, I definitely missed the comment and would like to apologize. I wasn't looking to start any crazy cyber-hate wars here, just trying to make sure HS doesn't loose any fans over misunderstandings. I really hope you get the opportunity to see them soon and like the Ninja was saying, maybe you'll get the opportunity to catch them at a similar show.

I saw them recently, actually. They were in my town on May 19. It was at a tiny little local club called Juanitas. Tickets were 10 bucks, and for that price, not only did I get to meet and chat with Lzzy and the gang, but I got to see and become a new fan of two of the three bands that opened for them. American Bang and Madam Adam are off the chain if you ever get a chance to see them. I saw the entire show standing three feet directly in front of Lzzy. Now that's the best way to see Halestorm! lol After the show, they were the nicest group of people you'd ever want to meet. I just expected to get an autograph and be shuffled on, but no. The entire band put their hands out and introduced themselves to me (not the other way around!) and took the time to talk and Lzzy even took a pic with me. They're just really sweet to their fans. I hope you get to experience them like that. :) Oh...and...your husband? I feel stupid now. I assumed you were a guy. I was all calling you dude and bro and such. lol Sorry about that! Your husband has great taste if he's a Shinedown junkie, btw. Me too. They're one of the only bands on my favorites list that I've not had the pleasure of seeing in concert. The others being Weezer and the Foo Fighters. All in due time. :)

LOL, no problem. Just didn't want people to start a hate war on me. I've seen Halestorm before, and it was by accident. My husband is a big Shinedown fan and I got him tickets to a show in NYC, I like to get to all my shows early so I don't miss anything and thank God I did, because we walked in and they were on stage. All I can say is WOW!!! I bought their CD that night and have been a fan since. What I love about Lizzy is that she is not some chick who pretends to play a few chords, no she can play! But it's been almost a year since we've seen them and I'm craving another dose. I hope they come out your way, so if I don't get to see them this tour you can live it for me.

I guess I missed your comment. My bad, dude. Hey, I understand about venting in a moment of anger. Hell, I do that on damned near a daily basis. lol Considering I live in Arkansas, I doubt I will be making it to Jersey or upstate NY. I wish I could, though. Halestorm is worth traveling to see, if you're able. I really do hope you get to see them live sometime. They put on a fantastic show. Lzzy works a crowd as well, if not better, than any other performer I've ever seen. The whole band really connects with the fans, and you can tell they're giving it 120% every second they're on that stage.

hey Rugger/Applesauce, if you saw my comment after ET's you would see I took that back. Of course I dont blame them, I was just pissed off in the moment and really disappointed. If I had a car, yeah driving wouldnt be an issue, but mass transit would never get me there and back again. So I'll have to hope they make it this was and reschedule otherwise maybe next year they will come back my way on their own. Hope you guys get to go to the show, should be great. I never did get to see Stone Sour either so I'm really really hoping they decide to rebook my venue.

Dude, I'm so sorry this happened to you. But trust me, bro, I've met Halestorm, and they're a band that genuinely cares very much about their fans. They're the type of people who would never cancel a show or switch a venue unless they had no other option. I promise you, in rare instances where shit like this happens, Lzzy, Arejay, Josh, and Joe agonize over it. Don't be down on the band over this. It's not their fault. They're legit artists who care very much about their craft and the people who support them. By all means, drive those 2 to 4 hours to see them. I promise you won't regret it.

Woah there bud! Run to the store, grab a bottle of chill pills and down the thing with a bottle of Nyquil while you're at it!! This sucks dude but I highly doubt this is Halestorm's fault, with all the interviews I've seen I would bet that they would be the first band in the lineup to say, "hell, let's play both!"

Don't worry man, I'm sure they'll be back. Who knows, maybe this will even prompt them to headline a show in Wantagh which will save you a few bucks and will probably give you a better opportunity to meet them after the show. Heck, with Asylum coming out it's pretty much a guarantee that Disturbed will be back in the area eventually

You're right ET but it just sucks because I worked hard to get those tickets, and I finally when I was so happy it's like the rug pulled out from under me. I wish they would run their own tours, these promoters are killing their fans. And lets face it, without us what is there? I just hope they rebook the venue, it's just straight out depressing.
