Couldn't we discuss something less volatile, like her feelings on abortion and politics?? Or better yet, aborting politicians?? :P

I was at the Diamond Ballroom in oklahoma city. It was awesome. i agree small venues aremuch better. you dont have to wait in line for 5 hours to talk to the band for 2 minutes. and they are really friendly in person. (:

I think you would enjoy a small venue better anyway. It gives them a better chance to interact with the fans and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg or wait in line for hours for the meet and greet. Our tickets in Oklahoma City were only $18, and we were like 6 feet from the stage. Security was great and the opening bands just walked around in the crowd.

Is your dad worried about the crowd or the music? The show I went to at the Diamond Ballroom in OK wasn't bad at all. The opening bands are a little more rough than Halestorm but there were kids as young as 3 or 4 there. Get him to listen to Familiar taste of Poison if it's the music he's concerned about. I've seen a 50 year old post master/ former preacher turned Halestorm fan by that song! Small venues make for better shows anyway!

I don't think it would upset her, they are all very gracious and kind to fans, she just mentioned it in a 20 questions blog. Go to Lzzy under Biography, it's one of her blog posts, it may answer your question.
