HELP! Copyright infringement claim on my video!

Yesterday I uploaded a video I shot, myself, last year in SLC. It came out pretty decent, I thought. Well apparently, somebody has a problem with it and says I have infringed their rights. I don't know what the deal is. I shot it, I thought that was what YouTube is about, right? They let me in the show with a camera TO shoot the thing, so what do they expect? It is still up at the moment, but the infringement thing makes me nervous. I'm an artist and musician as well. I wouldn't want to be infringed upon but in my write-up I'm "singing the praises" of Halestorm and telling folks where to look for tour info and all that, go see them and stuff. Any advertising is good advertising, right? So what's the problem?

I LOVED the show and HOPE to get to see them again soon. (UpRoar, sold out in my area and I missed on tix.) Hope somebody can help me figure out what's up. Thanks in advance. OH!     If they didn't identify themselves, I don't think you have much to worry about. You would have gotten a cease and desist email with a company letterhead if it was official and they meant business.

    I dunno who had a problem with it but gate security let me in with the camera. I showed it to them and everything. So, I doubt it's the venue. At any rate, thanks for the response. I just got to catch them again on Uproar tour and got yet more footage. I have as of yet to edit anything, but I will get to it soon.

    Could it be that the venue has issue? Or that you werent on some approved list of ppl to record it so venue is upset or something. I know sometimes even if bands are ok with ppl taking pictures and recording video venues dont care they wont let ppl record. Idk. Just saying.

    DUDE i dunno either~ALL i can say 2u is a righteous THANK YOU~That was nice eye kandee~If any one was on ur @zz about infringement?~UHM to me all the other video formats{cell phones cameras & devices} in front of you got some ansering to do as well~This actually was one of the best ive seen in a while it was beautifuly inscribed w/ur graphix at begining of Vid~The UpRoar im goin to says you can bring small recording devices to the show~But no BIG ONES~I WOULDNT WORRY~As long as ur not cashing in dont sweat it~YOU-TUBE belongs to all of us~Your a fan and we have rights to endorse our beloved HALESTORM~Good Luck & let us/me know what the lick was~Peace* Gypsy
