WOW i finally got to see HS,Me & my crew was a bit aways from stage LIZZY looked GREAT & so tiny~She sang beautifully~Arejay is a bad ass drummer & wore some ole skool Quiet Riot pants. I wanted 2 ask him if he got them from Kevin DeBrow {R.I.P}
UPROAR in N.C was AWESUM,It was HOT AS HELL~I arrived early, checked uproar page & even called the amphitheater 2 make sure all VENUES was listed correctly~They of course had thier head up thier asses.
MAJOR BUMMER,HS had already signed an hour b4 we arrived {ARGH} when the VENUE listed them to sign @ a specific time,so while we rocked out W/HELL YEAH who was on jagiermiester stage{LOVE YOU VINNIE}~THEY PLAYED ABOUT 35 MINS in 96 degree heat~Im damn near 50 & im still rocking & goin to concerts ive seen almost everybody...YAY ME, But i think im getting to old for this~lol
BY THE TIME HELLYEAH FINISHED THIER SET~HS was already opening on MAIN STAGE~WTF? So my ole ass in 96 degree heat had to rush a country mile only to climb 6 flights of stairs UP HILL...Man thought i was goin to have a heat stroke.
HS played a VERY SHORT SET,I was sadly disapointed,We intially only bought tix 4 this event becuz we favored HS~
When i sat down took my pix & jammed out while i had HS to my indulgent delights,I noticed LIZZY's hair looked diff as if shes cut it?
Which had every one was comparing her to JOAN JETT~Which is nice in theory 2 sum, I think lizzies mentioned her as an influence,I saw joan years back HUGE DIFF~This is an awesome tour~GO 2 UPROAR as its spoken by us East Coasters~You will leave HAPPY or DIE of heat stroke~LOL
She plays a wikid WHITE GIBSON, I jus wished the VENUE was stated correctly & we could of met her~The signing was stated by personel that there was alledgidly~2 signings one where you had to by thier stuff to get a wrist band~Then a freebie signing<?> No one really knew~They had mentioned they signed longer than usual & due 2 heat,they had to split.
We was a lil ticked because of the heat ,that was hell fire & play times was off! Had WE knew this B4 we would of spared ourselves the misery of the heat~And would of been in our seats on time to see her OPEN.
Ax7 beat our asses~A hang mans noose & dude jumped to his faked death as AX7 opened w/Ur Fckn Nitemare~LOVED THEM & so did everybody there.
Unfortunatley im a lil sickly & older, couldnt make the disturbed show~Dehydrated & shot out~So ill remember this as a great show~But the hour or so we wasted in the heat,I probably could of made it thru to see disturbed~Bummer 4 me,No more outdoor events for this ole chic.
CHECK UR VENUE TIMES & LEAN ON SOME INFORMATION as we was denied our chance to meet & greet w/HS.
