Hey guys, the name is Misty Milligan. I'm 22 from Austin Texas and love good music which entails everything but yodeling.. eew. I will pretty much tolerate anything but that. Its just a thing. I love classic rock, there are not enough bands today that make music like that anymore and it breaks my heart every time i turn on the radio. So yeah. I really like Halestorm i think they are wonderful musicians Lzzy Hale is setting a new bar for female musicians everywhere and doing it with class. Joe and Josh are rockin the stage and bring their own unique style a flash to the shows and Arejay, hmmmm, what to say about Mr. Arejay Hale aside form his really pretty hair he is a new aged animal with energy out the ass. I swear its like he has eight friggin arms. But yeah, great band, great music. living the dream all in all not a bad life.
Some of my favorites are Van Halen, Guns-n-Roses, Tesla, Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix, Lynard Skynard, Dokken, Cinderella, Pantera, Metallica, Queen, Journey, ACDC, Led Zepplin, Rush, WASP, Ozzy Osbourne. and a shit ton more. As for newer aged bands clearly Halestorm, I really like Avenged Sevenfold, got to meet them they were pretty cool guys. the list really goes on and on and of course the second you tell your mind to start listing your favorites it forgets everything.
oh jeeze. well i love my home town of Austin. I love Texas in general. We have everything here you get beaches, the occasional snow, hills, plains, mountains. Now mind you we may not have the best of everything but we do have everything!!! keep that in mind. There are places that i have yet to go but are really looking forward to it. Dublin Ireland, Amsterdam (not for the evident reasons), London, Santorini, Alaska. I want to see the world pretty much. all of it. even the ugly parts.
How did you first hear about Halestorm?:
about 4 weeks ago i was listneing to the the Lubbock radio station 94.5 kiss fm. and homeboy of the tube was talking about how he wished that all chicks were more like Lzzy Hale. He said that she had the right idea about shit. the whole "I get off on you getting of on me" and he said something to the effect that if more females thought like that there would be a a lot less fights and break ups. Then "I get off" came on and me being a former music major and everything I'm kind of critical of chick fronted bands. but Lzzy Hale has an abso-fucking-lutley amazing voice and i went checked out the my space page and all that jazz the next week i bought the album and this sunday i will be seeing the band in Abilene for the the first time so i'm pretty stoked.
Favorite Halestorm moment/show?:
haven't been to a show yet but i'm a sucker for drums and the drum circle is to tribal and primitive sounding i really think that i will enjoy the hell out of that. But i also saw pictures of the show where Lzzy sliced her hand open and got blood all over her Gibson. Now if that is not some damn dedication i don't know what is.
