Lzzy, I am a huge fan of metal and an even bigger fan of bands who aren't afraid to front a woman. I grew to enjoy music from Evanescence, Paramore, Laguna Coil, Nightwish, and many more. Nightwish has been my favorite of all of them since the arrival of Anette Olzen (who sadly is no longer a member as of last year). One of the most amazing things in todays rock ,I believe, is how much women have evolved vocally in this genre. I have witnessed shocker after shocker, time and time again. I first heard your song Mz. Hyde today and I'll admit I thought at first "Nice but I was hoping for a little more" ...then came the chorus. Instant fan. I have never in my entire life dreamed that a woman could ever develop such powerful pipes. You are such a rarity. A rare gem. I don't know how you managed to pull that song off like you did but rest assured I will be listening to many more of Halestorm's songs. Obviously my opinion alone doesn't really amount to much...but just read these comments from other fans. You and the group have an excellent thing going and I never thought I would say this but...in the race of rock groups with female vocalists,...It comes down to Halestorm and Nightwish for me...and Halestorm wins...easily. Thanks for giving me a new group to look forward to since Nightwish just can't seem to keep a decent vocalist. I may never look back!

Lzzy, you're amazing! I can proudly say I am the only girl in my class who has been to a Halestorm show, and the only one who's survived a mosh pit (Social Distortion, thanks Dad). You're the most insanely talented singer ever and leader of the freaks!

Love Strange Case of... I've been listening to it nonstop at work. Hope you guys will come to Saint Louis soon, in a better venue than a festival show. I also wanted to say that it means a lot to have someone use the label "freak" as a good thing. Thanks for the inspiration and great music.

I was at the Wellmont NJ show on Sat. and all I can say WOW! Not only were you great, it's obvious just how much you really love doing this and how you communicate with the fans during the show is refreshing as we get to see how real you are. Every so often I discover a band that becomes a part of me and Halestorm has done just that! Can't wait to see you guys back in Jersey!! I discovered your music about three weeks ago and I absolutely love just about every song. Personal favorites: I Get Off and Freak Like Me. I love those songs. But you are really pretty and sexy and you put a lot into your music.
