About Me
Well, you can call me Ana and I have been rocking out since I was born. Whenever I cried, my Dad had to just slip on Poundcake by Van Halen and I quieted up to enjoy the drill-on-guitar sound.
I'm an 18 year-old poet and percussionist; my sister is much more musically talented, and we always joked we would make a band together. After hearing Halestorm and their inspirational story, I hope that one day it won't just be a joke.

How did you first hear about Halestorm?
I was looking up tickets for a Trapt show in 2008 after being horrified at CrueFest. For those that went to the New Jersey concert and did so when there was still sunlight, you might have saw the blatant disrespect for a good band. Or maybe you were on dope like the rest of the people I saw carrying on during their set.
I found that they were touring with Inept, RED, and Halestorm. I hadn't listened to much of either of these bands, so I tried to find some clips from them. Halestorm was the one I liked the most. Unfortuantely, after finding the Trapt concert sold out in my area, I forgot to check my local CD stores for Halestorm.
A couple months later, I heard "I Get Off" on the radio and remembered that 30 second clip. I've been an avid Halestorm fan since.

First time seeing Halestorm live. It was great to not only be blown away, but expect to be blown away.

I've been sitting here this whole time thinking when the hell did they play at National Harbor? Then I actually used my brain for a change... it was the one the week after my birthday that was supposed to be like way down in Southern Maryland. I was trying to get someone to go to that but just didn't work out haha. Wow I honestly never knew that show got changed.

I like the guitar in Innocence, that's kinda what sells it to me. It's even better live. I wasn't expecting them to do it last time then I saw the set list before I shot and was like 3weoi43klhtroihkf THEY'RE DOING IT!!!! I just wish I would've paid more attention the music then taking pictures haha. I really should've just given my smaller camera to one of my friends who was on the rail to record it. bleh oh well. Not like I won't have plenty of opportunities in the future xD

Yea I haven't really seen any advertising for it yet... matter of fact, I still haven't even gotten my tickets yet. I got them as a present for me and one of my friends for her birthday... I wasn't going to tell her until I got them.. kept waiting and waiting, trying to make excuses as to why I still hadn't gotten her present.... then like 2 days after I gave up and told her I read the confirmation email and it said "You will receive an email when tickets are shipped". That's how great my attention span is! haha.

Far Away was a weird one... I didn't really like it when I first heard it, but as of last week (before I lost all my music on my computer... stupid viruses) if found itself as the 2nd most played song on my iTunes.

So anyways..... what's your favorite Halestorm song(s)? My favorite favorite favorite song is Innocence, closely followed by Dirty Mind, The Hand, and It's Not You. Hard to pick a 2nd favorite between those 3.

I'm sure that show would sell out without a doubt. The tickets went on sale in early December I believe... I was going to wait and get them but I splurged at 3am Christmas morning because I was nervous they wouldn't be around much longer.

Favorites hmm... Papa Roach would probably be Getting Away With Murder. Nickelback isn't easy to pick, but if I had to get stuck listening to one song forever I'd probably go with Far Away. I absolutely LOVE that song.

Nickelback's shows are SOOOOOOOOO good. Chad always interacts with a crowd and make's everyone laugh their asses off. He's a funny dude. They have so much pyro stuff too. You should come to the show in April, it'll be so worth it. When you have bands like NB and Shinedown playing on the same night, it'll be..... just... well... idk but fantastic would be an understatement!

Funny you mention Papa Roach too. They opened for NB over the summer and they were so awesome. Jacoby knows how to get a crowed rolling, he's crazy. I didn't really know too much of their stuff before the summer but I have a ton of it now!
