How did you first hear about Halestorm?
First time I heard anything from or about Halestorm was when " I get off " first came out on the radio. I caight the last 30 seconds or so from it and got instant chills. I went home and looked the song up on youtube and instantly fell in love with the music. I downloaded the album and liked all the songs right away. We needed a band like this with an awesome female lead to rise up and bring this kind of rock back into the music scene!
Favorite Halestorm moment/show?
I've only been to 1 show so far at the House of Blues in Boston, ma and although I absolutely loved the show, I think Halestorm should have deadlined. My fav moment was when Lzzy was singing " Familiar Taste of Poison " she came to the left of the stage, looked up to the VIP section during the middle of the song and we sang to eachother for a moment. My second was when they were playing the garbage can drums. That was very cool.

    I'm a graphic designer so whatever money I end up making from the band (which is a joke) goes into the band. We're recording an album but it's not going fast. Still, I think it's sounding great for an indie record. I'll probably never make much doing this but it's a blast and the band is good. I'd just like to see some of my dreams come true and I'm willing to try some different things to get us noticed than the normal band guy who'd claim it's "not hardcore" to do karaoke, or whatever.

    I just want to sing, ya know? Like, it hurts inside when I'm not doing it. So, I keep pushing against the wall of a dead industry for an occasional chance to do this on a bigger scale. For the first time in my life, I'm in a band that gets what I feel because they do, too. But, no matter what happens, I've already lived a life in music beyond my own expectations. When "Sally" bashed a couple of the others, though, I just lost it. I have a little sister who has some social difficulties and would've died inside if some heartless hack tore into her. Maybe I said too much... but I barely felt like I even started. No one on the sidelines has the right to tell you what you can or can't do. It's just easier to throw stones than to actually pick them up, one by one, and move a mountain.

    Thanks. She's in my band and steals the show, anyway, so we thought it might be fun. It was! I have a much deeper understanding of what it's like for Joe, Josh and AreJay than most. That's why I hope I win. So they can look a whole lot better than the singer for five minutes. :)
