Well since I've only been to one, )O:, I would have to say the show at the Boardwalk in Sacramento in 2009. But it was a good one considering the fact that the place only holds about 250 people wall to wall, so it was a pretty unique experience. I got to watch the show from right up front and I doubt if I will ever get to see them in such an intimate setting again. )o: It was a very special night and although I had to leave early due to illness, (abcessed tooth), the night will always be a special memory to me. And you haven't heard Halestorm until you've heard them live!! Other than my own personal experience, how could you ever top the infamous bloody performance?? Hardcore Lzzy Hale baby. I think that will even top Ozzy's biting the head off a dove someday.....and I know lots of people think it was a bat, but it was a dove that a fan threw up on stage and Ozzy didn't know what to do with it so he chomped it. Over the years the story changed to say it was a bat, but that was just to re-inforce his badass image as the true "Prince of Darkness" that we now know was just a facade anyhow. He's a pussycat really. Brilliant, talented, pussycat. :D

I first saw Lzzy Hale doing an interview on a very early Avril Lavigne bio DVD. She looked to be about 15 or so.........have always wanted to talk to you about that btw Lzzy......and even then her spirit stole my heart. Her genuine remarks and sweet smile made me look up the band Halestorm who I believe had just burned their first demo c.d. I found it to be a little harsh, but there was just something about this band that drew me in and the more I got to know them, the more I loved them, and their music was soon a staple in my house. Watching them grow in talent and success has been a pleasure and I hope to be a part of their musical lives for many years to come.
