Embers

Am just a woman who's been rocking out since about 1974. I will probably continue to enjoy hard rock and metal until I'm nothing but ashes in black marble sitting on a shelf (hopefully close to a stereo speaker). My SO and I volunteer with Rock Med here in the SF Bay Area of CA and get to hear a lot of bands while we're taking care of concert attendees who need help; whether it's handing out earplugs, cleaning up injuries from the pit, or holding a basin for someone who has overestimated their alcohol tolerance. Rock Med is a great organization, an offshoot of the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic, comprised of doctors, nurses, paramedics and cpr/first aid assistants. The list of venues we work has grown dramatically over the years so if you're ever at a concert in the bay area or Sacramento area it's likely Rock Med is there if you need us.
