Enjoy this.... So my daughters bought me front row tickets to the August 24th Show at DTE theater, Clarkston MIch for Carnival of Madness tour earlier in year. With Halestorm being there, according to their website, and Ticketmaster. These tickets were for my 45th birthday and to ask my longtime girlfriend to marry me during the Halestorm part of the show.
Whoops..Halestorm was a no show, cancelled on this date, but played at a small venue 20 minutes away in Flint, Michigan.(Machine shop) So much for the 245 dollars apiece tickets x2, or failed plans. What a disappointment. Planned all summer for this day for it to bomb. Spent all day Saturday looing for any press release from Halestorm, Carnival of Madness, or Ticketmaster stating that they wouldnt be there. NONE FOUND!!. Needless to say, The disappointment is leaving a bad taste .
Just imagine....
What are you going to do, Halestorm? Think you sholuld take care of your undying, dedicated fans? This one would like you too....

That sucks, same thing
That sucks, same thing happened to us. From my underestanding of the turn of events, it was caused by DTE and 89X radio station only giving them a 6 or 7 song set and telling them if they did not play there they would stop playing their music. After the carnival of madness was done, we headed north to Flint and was able to get into the SOLD OUT show just in time to see most of Halestorms set. The dude that owns the Machine Shop in Flint was very simpathetic to our issue and let us in for free( you rock Kevin, and by the way F$$k DTE). After seeing the best show of the night, we were able to meet Lzzy and the band. My best birthday EVER!!
Sorry it was not a great experience for you, but I believe Halestorm to be innocent on this one. Keep rocking though, and they will be around again soon, probably at the Machine Shop.
