okay Lzzy, I need you to settle a score. One of the radio djs does not like the song I Miss the Misery and keeps yapping about how it's not a good message for women. I disagree but can't put into words how I think what you meant for the song to say. Can you PLEASE clarify for me so that I can pass some knowledge to this guy?? Thanks

The song is basically about a post-relationship in which you don't miss the person, you miss the fighting and having someone to be pissed off at. That radio DJ sounds like a pussy by the way... this song isn't about abuse, it's about doing what every couple does, fight.

love bites (so do I) is one of my favourite songs Ive only started listening to halestorm about a week ago when I heard their song miss the misery on the radio and got hocked and cant stop listening to their music

Saw Halestorm in El Paso last night. As I was pulling into the parking garage, I saw Lzzy and Arjay standing outside of their buses signing autographs. I almost ditched my car and jumped out to meet them. I can get another car. An autograph from Lzzy? That's a once in a lifetime event. Halestorm opened for Evanesence. Lzzy played solo during 'Break In'. Just as I thought to myself, "Wow. Lzzy can REALLY sing. I'm amazed that Amy Lee lets Lzzy take the stage before her." Then, from where I was standing, I saw Amy backstage with a mic. Then, Amy joined Lzzy for a duet. It was epic. EPIC!!!
Now, my measure of a band is how well they measure up to my personal favorite band; Dio. (RJD RIP) The best part about a Dio show is how well Ronnie performs on stage and how he connects with the audience. Lzzy is right there on par with the late great Ronnie James Dio. I hope very much that her career lasts as long as his.

Just seen them on the Carnival of Madness tour in Boston, MA. Their show rocked!! Went to see Evanescence came back a total Halestorm fan! Can't stop listening to this cd!

Rock Show is the best track on the album. It brought a tear to my eye, and then full tearfest by the end of the song. It reminded me of what is best about rock music and why we as fans buy records, go to live shows and put band posters up on our walls when we were in high school. Halestorm is the real deal and they deserve to be broke big in the music biz.

I'm also a recent fan addition and excited for the Atlanta show next week. I definitely love the hard stuff, but Beautiful With You is an awesome tune and a big time hit if it could get a couple plays on the radio. Would love to hear it live - but it doesn't show on your recent setlists. Any chance?

this album is totally brilliant, flooded with hardcore and emotional hooks I absolutely love Lzzy's dynamic vocal range and also her energy both on stage and on the microphone. I have recently discovered this band I am loving them. Favourite song on the album at the moment is 'Beautiful with you'

This truely is a great band and I saw them at concert supporting Avenged sevenfold. hope i see em again soon but hopfully this time theyl be headlining with A7x because I knew them before the concert and liked their songs studio style and they still managed to kick ass live

I recently just scrambled to balance my checkbook too, lol, so I could get this new deluxe edition cd, and am so glad I did, cuz one of the bonus songs is the "Private Parts" duet, a really good song... and all these songs kick a$$ too: Love Bites, Mz. Hyde, Freak like me, Daughters of Darkness, American Boys, and Here's to us. I Love all the ballads too!! Thank you Halestorm for another Awesome album!! :)
