'This Is Not A Scene' reviews Halestorm's 'Hello, It's Mz.Hyde' EP and gives it a very impressive 8.5/10 rating!

The EP features four tracks from that album. Kicking off with the balls out anthem “Love Bites (So Do I)”, it’s fast paced and infectious, showing what a hell of a set of pipes Lzzy Hale has. “Daughters Of Darkness” is a nasty rocker of a track, snarling and grabbing at your throat straight from the traps. These two tracks sit either side of “Rock Show”, an honest middle of the road guitar driven tune, without the dark edge from the other two. Finish off with the balladesque “Here’s to Us”, and you have a four track package that leaves you gagging for more.

I was very impressed by Halestorm's new EP. Can't wait for the new album to come out in April. I've seen them twice in concert and they put on a helluva show both times. If the rest of the album ends up being as good as this EP....I will fall in love with it and it will be even better than their first album.
