The best part about being a woman is the power that comes with being able to play with the boys...but in stilettos!

Lzzy Hale has always managed to rock with the best of them while still retaining her femininity, but as this interview with RockSource360 states, it's not always an easy task.

I have little conception of what it's like to be a woman in a rock band but if I ever have that opportunity ( you know, through rebirth or whatever...hey, I won't know til I get there..),I want to come back and be like you!!!! My god, I've been playing in rock bands for 47 years and it's very rare that I get as completely blown away as I was last night when I heard you for the first time. I love female vocalists and was just scrolling through youtube checking some out when I came across Halestorm....I spent the next six hours with headphones glued on listening to you. And, I'm back at it today..just incredible! It ALL resonates with me - the voice, the music, the lyrics, and I love your brother, he seems like a gas to be around. I suppose someday you might get to San Diego...If you do, I'll be tbere, singing along (well, as best as I can, anyway...). Now I must tell everybody I know about you.....Mike
