Despite the name implication, this record, should not be kept secret!

Ok guys, as you may know it's not that often that I get obsessed with a record. A record not at least involving someone from the 70s-80s rock era (my life is one big guilty pleasure).

But, I must say, that "Audio Secrecy", the brand new record released Sept 7th, carries on the weightiness of my fav eras, with a mold-breaking metal, that you can only expect from Stone Sour. This is a record that inspires me to expand my horizons and be a better songwriter. Every musician will have an "oh-duh" moment, saying "if only I couldn't written that song", and every rock and metal fan will have their fist in the air, a salute to all we stand for as advocates of a rock n roll movement!

Enjoy my friends, go out and get this record, if nothing else than because it inspired me to write a blog about it.

I wonder how it would be Corey Taylor singing together and Lzzy Hale ...

Also, I agree about the Stone Sour being great after a breakup. This album helped me get through the last five months of tough times as my girlfriend of almost five years had split with me in August. "Audio Secrecy" was like therapy for me.

I agree Lzzy, this was indeed a great album. Stone Sour, Avenged Sevenfold, Pretty Maids, Ratt and Firewind have made up my top 5 albums of 2010!

Lzzy, I have to say i was not a fan of their new hit song, but then i heard the rest of the album last night and i felt like i could relate to many songs, and i fell in love with it. Hesitate, threadbare, dying, and imperfect really got to me. I love slipknot ans stonesours music, and corey taylor is an amazing songwrite as well. I was watching 100 greatest artist of all time on vh1 and saw janis joplin and thought you should def, sing a cover of janis. Ashley
