AREJAY Hale...The Modern Drummer!!

So, it's been exactly one year since our record was released, and over the course of a year we've experienced many things as a band. Being the foursome we are, there has always been a huge respect for what eachother brings to band. Both in the music we create, and as friends.

But I have never been more proud of my favorite drummer, and brother AREJAY!!


Now, you can see him featured in Modern Drummer Magazine! QuestLove, one of Arejays favorites, is on the cover (eerie how the same thing happened to me when Dio was on the cover of Revolver when I was featured) and Arejay's article is on page 74&75.

I remember my parents getting him a subscription to MD when he was little! He devoured those zines! And now he in it!!

Im so happy for you lil Buddy! You'll probably kill me for gettin' all mushy and big sister-like, but you have always been the heart to my soul. And I am so happy that the world is finally getting to see what I've known all along. You rock Arj! Go out and get your copy while supplies last!

    I remember seeing Halrstorm in the late 1990s at at talet show in Altoona,Pa. There Dad was palying with them at the time. Arejay had a machine where he could spin around in circles while playing his drums...Thought that was kind of different. I just heard I get off on you on the radio and the Deejay said they are a Pa. band. I did a little researching and found out it was the same Halestorm i saw in the 1990s...I didnot they make it big until now. I really enjoyed the song, and hope to listen to many more in the future..

    We just saw you guys for the 3rd time & you just get better every time! So glad you are headlining, as the other shows we went to we just didn't get enough of you. Arejay is amazing & so entertaining to watch - love the passion he has for the drums - and the passion you all have for your music is what makes you so great live. All we need now is for you to release a few acoustic songs....please? REALLY enjoyed the acoustic performance at the TLA on Friday. Keep Rockin & I will pick up a copy of MD (a drummer friend of mine told me about that article yesterday.)

    It's good to see arejay in the magazine for several reasons. He not only has the technical skills to be noticed and covered in a MD, he's noticed for his solos and stage presence as well. Too many drummers and other members are picked up in other magazines for their ....(the words just left me) being different. The white stripes come to mind right off the bat. So many drummers are covered and don't have a tenth of the talent that arejay had when he was ten.

    I'm really happy to see you up in the ranks arejay. You deserved it long before the album was released. Can't wait to see you in Nashville, Chattanooga, and Johnson City in a few weeks.

    When I saw you guys in Fort Wayne in January, although I loved the whole band, by far I took the most pictures of AreJay's wild drumming! WTG with the deserved props in MD, you mad drummer you!
