Halestorm

Saw and heard Halestorm for the first time in Wolverhampton, UK as support for Theory of a Deadman, you were brilliant. Look forward to seeing you in little old England as the headline act!! Missed out on buying your CD at the gig, but will def download from itunes!! Hope you all arrived back home safely!!

Saw you guys last night in Glasgow and you were amazing!! I really enjoyed all the acts however I think that you were the best!! I really hope you come back and soon :)

HS - 1 word - WOW!
Caught single by accident on radio and ran to get album. Before I saw the reviews, I thought how Lzzy draws from strengths of benetar, lita ford, ann/nancy wilson, joplin, jett --- but with such a powerhouse behind her! The combination of mythic siren calling and the band acting as the rock/waves crashing upon you. This has plenty of room for momentum to grow! I prefer rocking it out, but even enjoyed Familiar...Poison as it kept me on my seat waiting for the recoil. In honesty - I was waiting for a crescendo like dickerson or jeff tate followed by the band pummeling me with their thunder. hmmm, just a thought, lol. In the last couple of days I have been amazed at the historical material on the web. The early days takes me back to my highschool days managing my friends. Arejay - absolutely love the spin! (been there - tried that, but yours worked!) My little bro is a drummer, so there have been many wacked ideas that I thought of back then! Name of the game is to get noticed. Obviously - somebody has!! I am truely looking forward to the nite at Wellmont and introducing my better half to the world of this kind of concert. Heaviest concert she has been to was Jovi @ Meadowlands. Big and impersonal. This is going to ROCK!!! Stay true and keep rocking.

i want to be like Lzzy when i grow up...

I'll type this again: I saw the band at House of Blues tonight, in Houston. I went there to see Theory of a Deadman, and had no idea about Halestorm. Not only did Halestorm freaking SHRED, but they completely upstaged Theory of a Deadman, who, sadly, sounded like crap, almost entirely because of terrible vocals (it was obvious there was some problem, hoarseness from over-extending the night before, perhaps?). Do not underestimate this observation. Theory is one of my favorite bands (I guess only a favorite STUDIO band now because of their crappy set), but Halestorm made them look like amateurs (sorry Halestorm, I know this doesn't help your professional relationship with tour-mates Theory, but you KNOW you are better than they are, come on!). Anyway, Halestorm was a pleasant surprise. The completely adorable lead singer reminded me of a young Lita Ford/Joan Jett, and I am old enough to remember how much the Runaways rocked! I have to say that I was completely blown away by the Halestorm set in Houston on the evening of February 6th, and I am going to buy everthing I can find from this band. No shit.

I was at wing ding 2009 and you guys stole thr entire show! So keep rockin it hard and keepin it real.

Im praying Lzzy and the crew will read this! I was at the Rave in Milwaukee, and after Theory of a Deadmans concert, you were doing autographs. Im the one who had the red cast on. I told you i fell on the ice. I hope you remember me cuz Lzzy, when you signed my cast for me, it meant to me for more then jus a signature, i listen to you guys everyday, i spread the word about you all over, and basically, i think you guys are one of the greatest things to happen to rock since the electric guitar. I wanted to say more, but the moment was through the roof leaving me speechless. Your songs are fantastic! RJ is one HELL of a drummer... actually the whole band is! When you all layed the smackdown on those trash cans. That was so frickin JOICE!!! Lzzy has the vocals of a rock goddess! She has the beauty of a goddess as well :)!!! And you all talked to me like were all average joes. Deep down we are, but you all are so talented, i jus can't think of it that way... I know i could be askin for the impossible here, but if there was anyway to meet you guys again if you were to ever hit Wisconsin again, i would die in peace no matter what the future after that holds... I pray for more amazing tunes in the future for all of ya, and if your hooked up with Taking Dawn at all, if you could tell them i think their cd is fricking kick ass and thankyou for their autographs as well, you'd be doin an enormous favor for me. You guys rock! Peace! And hope we flow together once again!

Familiar Taste of Poison is my favorite.. You guys rock... going to see you guys at the Boston House of Blues in a week.. I see you're off to Europe soon.. Good for you guys!! For an older guy who still loves to Rock, you guys are my newest music obsession.. thanks!

HOLY FRACKING MONKEY BALLS SIDEWAYS WITH A BROOKLYN BASHER ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!! I Get Off is totally off the reservation. I first saw the video on Youtube I about shit myself, and I would have been banned from the library, but damn it it would have been worth it. They are coming to toledo, ohio (america's armpit) on jan 22 and I can't wait to see them kick ass
